Your Metricon Contract Explained

Where a standard form Consumer Contract – a definition which would apply to most Metricon Home Building Contracts – is unfair in the sense of causing a significant imbalance of the parties’  rights and obligations and which incorporates terms which are not reasonably necessary to protect Metricon’s legitimate interests, a Court can set aside or vary the contract terms.

Similarly, a consumer can claim damages, if he or she has suffered as a result of unfair contract terms.

We have provided an analysis online of just one (1) Metricon Contract, issued in NSW in 2018.

If you want us to consider your Metricon contract and whether it is also an unfair consumer contract, then forward it to Class PR.

You may gain access to our opinion concerning the 2018 NSW contract, by registering as a Levitt Robinson client, obtaining a personal identification number (P.I.N.) and utilising it to gain access to our privileged “Client Only” advice.
